I am Ratna. I was born on May 30, 2005 at Penrose Hospital, Colorado Springs. I have 6 teeth and I can walk now. I can say my name, words like hello, Acha, Amma, Chechy and Chetta. I am big enough to talk (I think) over the phone too. But the problem is nobody understands me. My Acha says that I am smart enough to get my things done whatever happens. After all, communication is nothing but expressing your thoughts right :-) |

| I run around the house and pull everything. You should see me going behind Amma and pulling the things that she just arranged. She gets angry at me sometimes but well, I am the younger one. I can climb up the stairs now and pull out cables from Achan’s computer room. I also can act crying, smiling and coughing. I think I am smart but don’t understand why my parents tell that I am naughty. |

I don’t like to go shopping or sit in the car or stroller for a long time. I always like to run around but I am strapped in my seat. I object to these punishments in my own way (crying) but don’t get a choice and end up watching things around me. I don't like photo sessions too. You can always see my pictures with tear in my eyes. |

Achan and Amma drop me at Latha Aunty’s house when they go to work. I play with Soumya and Radhika and have lot of fun. |

I play with Chechy in our small play tent. I like to play with her crayons and papers but most of the time I want whatever she picks. She is not very happy about it, but I have the advantage of being her sister. I also love music and dance and watch my Chechi dancing. Another thing I and my Chechi like to do is to shout and make Amma and Acha go mad. |
